Once called the 'Cuvve Classique', it has been renamed to pay tribute to one of the great romances in the world of wine: Lucienne ‘Lulu’ Tempier, heir to the estate, and Lucien Peyraud, who against much opposition created the Bandol appellation.
An ode to the Mouvedre grape, this is a dense and rustic wine but combined with elegance and finesse. Meaty and fleshy, with dark fruits and dusty tannins, leather and earthy, spicy flavours. A wine that will develop and layer with 5-10 yrs in the bottle.
